This is a chance for students to do their international studies in a northern, extreme environment. Also, it is a chance for faculty and researchers to develop collaboration and networking through teaching and supervision of student projects.

The Centre for Northern Norwegian Music Research (SnoMus), at Nesna University College has been supported by the University of the Arctic to create a Master’s of Musicology course, 'Music, Culture and Context in the Arctic' that will be taught by podcast.




The High North scholarships have made northern Norway a great study destination for Alaskan students, says Donna Anger, associate director of international programs at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF).
