The One Health project is led by the Sustainable Development Working Group (SDWG) of the Arctic Council and now is in its third Chairmanship cycle under the leadership of the United States, Canada, and Finland. The One Arctic, One Health Fact Sheet is now published.

Good health is not the mere absence of diseases. It is the result of a complex interplay between factors influencing our daily lives and the surrounding environment. However, increased human activities resulting in the loss of natural habitats imperil both healthy ecosystems and healthy humans. 


You are invited to participate in an online workshop to discuss topics and ideas that you think are important for policy makers and the Arctic Science Ministers to better understand and prioritize at the Third Arctic Science Ministerial (ASM3; https://asm3.org/).

We at UArctic, together with the local host organizations in Iceland, have made the difficult decision to postpone the UArctic Congress (originally scheduled to take place in Reykjavik Oct 6-8, 2020) until May 2021 in conjunction with the Arctic Council Ministerial.
