CALL FOR ABSTRACTS deadline has been also extended and due by August 12, 2024. Decision notifications about previously submitted abstracts will be available shortly. Please submit original work on any aspect of circumpolar health, from any field of research or practice.
ICCH18 welcomes abstracts that seek to share knowledge and discuss innovative community-based programs, health and social service projects, models of care, approaches to teaching and learning, and research that is completed or in progress. We encourage submissions from community organizations, clinicians, researchers, Elders and youth, service providers, graduate students and trainees, and others in the global Circumpolar health community. We are especially interested in abstracts related to the congress themes.
The Congress is the world’s premier circumpolar health event co-hosted every three years by a national society and the International Union for Circumpolar Health (IUCH). Its main purpose is to facilitate vital knowledge exchange among community and health sector leaders, decision-makers, researchers, service providers, and communities dedicated to improving health in Circumpolar regions.
ICCH18 has an exciting interdisciplinary program with dynamic keynote speakers, practical workshops and information sessions, networking events—including a social program that showcases the vibrant host city.
