The aim of this call is to bring together, integrate on European scale, and open up key national and regional research infrastructures to all European researchers, from both academia and industry, ensuring their optimal use and joint development.

Projects must take the form of research and innovation actions. Research and innovation actions require participation by at least three legal entities, each established in a different EU member state or associated country.

Under these topics, legal entities established in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Mexico and USA, which provide access to their research infrastructures to researchers from MS and AC, are eligible for funding from the Union. All H2020 funding calls allow third country partners who secure their own funding to participate in consortia.

The indicative budget for this call is €100 million for 2016. Each successful proposal is expected to receive up to €10m, although proposals for other amounts will also be considered.
