Barrow Area Logistics Support Forum Tuesday, 15 December 2009, 3:00-4:00 p.m

The Arctic Research Support and Logistics program of the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs (NSF) will hold a Barrow Area Logistics Support Forum at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San Francisco on Tuesday, 15 December 2009, 3:00-4:00 p.m. The meeting will be convened in the ARCUS Arctic Community Meeting Space at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, Pacific Room J. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update on the present logistics support structure in the Barrow area, and to provide the research community an opportunity to discuss with NSF future science support needs in Barrow.

Team members from CH2MHILL Polar Services (CPS) - NSF's contractor for arctic logistics - will present information for logistics users in Barrow. NSF representatives will be present in-person and via teleconference.
